Ermelinda Tavares, professor assistant at the Faculty of Social Science Humanities and Arts, University of Cape Verde. Graduated from Higher Education Institute with a BA degree in English Studies and obtained the Master degree in Arts in Teaching from Bridgewater State University and worked as English teacher in Secondary Schools from 1994 to 2013 in Amílcar Cabral High School in Assomada, Technical School in Achada Santo Antonio and Abílio Duarte High School in Palmarejo respectively. Has long been engaged in several projects in the area of teaching English Language at the level of Ministry of Education.
